Best CD Of 2003

2003 isn't over yet so you can't draw conslusions too quickly, but what do you think has been the best release this year (or close to the end of last year)?

So far I would say Cold - Year Of The Spider. I have not heard the new Deftones cd yet, but I've heard things about it and I've heard its dissapointing. I bought the new Staind cd today and I am VERY dissapointed by it. Price To Play is the heaviest song on the cd and every other song is almost like an alternate version of It's Been Awhile. They sold out just like every other good band is starting to do nowdays ::sigh::

Another good album is the new Mudvayne album. It's their best album imo. I think it came out close to Christmas last year, but oh well.

Well, I've got the leak of Radiohead - Hail to the Thief, and it's amazing. It's not mastered, but I've heard some of the mastered tracks, and they're even better.

The Deftones CD is good, btw. I've never seen a poor review 0_o

I'm still planning to get the Deftones new cd, I have all of them except that one. I'm with most of the Deftones veterans and they all said that the new one made White Pony look like a heavy cd so thats bad news, maybe they lied.

Sorry Tim, but Linkin Park sucks, and they have no talent at all, they are on the same level as Avril Lavigne. The Deftones CD isn't bad, and I am not even much of a fan of them.

I am hoping the new Saves The Day CD, which comes out in September is good. There hasn't really been any 2003 releases of any of the bands I listen to regularly, so I can't really name the BEST of 2003.

Linkin Park is okay in my book. Meteora could have been better. One Step Closer is their best song still imo.

It doesn't have any new material, but my favorite album so far this year is Led Zeppelin's How the West was Won. Yeah...it's just a live album, but the one thing missing from the available Led Zeppelin collection of albums was a live album. It took 31 years to release it...but now it's here and it's well worth the price of admission

I'm sorry but Zwan really annoys me. They aren't hardly even rock, they're pop. VERY poppy. I don't understand why the metal stations play them. I guess because Billy Corgan is in it...
