Thanks for the hosting, Xylene. :P

Thought I would post my desktop here as well as the other topic in Null, since this one is sticky and everyone seems to be posting theirs here instead.

One. Extemely small ISO.. like 250mb. Pretty much you compile everything as you install it, and config it all.. Fun..

http://homepage.ntlworld.com/reafamily/ads.rar is the file containing all the stuff. You will have to edit A LOT of stuff though, as well as adding the right directory to your PATH, i believe...

Compared to the usual 3-4 disk distros, the minimal 80ish mb Gentoo disk (contains everything you need to get your system ready and start from stage 1) is quite small.

This page tells you how to do most of the stuff that I did, including the calender. For the winamp title scrolling, I don't really know how to do that, unfortunatly. If someone would tell me how if they figure it out, they'd make me happy ;). If I recall, it also shows you how to link to My Computer and various other 'Special' places as well.

Don't use that sites technique for launching programs though - just copy and paste what I used. It's much easier :D

And no problem for sharing 8-)
