that is one of the worst imitations I've ever seen. You didn't even bother faking the icons, or getting rid of the quick launch and task bar. For shame.

Finally I am on Vista full time!

I've had various Vista has been virtually constantly installed on my machine ever since the early Longhorn builds, but I've rarely been using it, till now. RC1 is finally usable as a full time OS.

Here's my current desktop:

Better late than never I suppose.

Usually I'd use my PDA but my HP iPAQ 4150 PDA doesn't work very well with Vista :(

How dare you even generally like the theme, it's just absurd!

From now on you will be required to submit to a formal DC Emu approval process before you customise your Window's theme.

I have no idea

I generally don't like using other people's work for my desktop (personal preference), and have always made my own, but this picture was so good I made an exception. I'll try to find the blog post I got the original from & see if it says where it was taken.

I just noticed the name of the file. Unless I'm mistaken though, that's a nuclear power plant (why i asked what plant it was, i thought it was supposed to be a positive picture). Nuclear plants don't give off smoke, it's just steam. (ya know, other than nuclear waste)

Yes, the plumes you see are just steam. The (air) pollution isn't from the plant itself, it's just pervasive in any urban environment. You wouldn't get those colors in the photos without all the ambient pollution there is.

Or maybe he was just talking about the light pollution :P

Oh, and here's the series: http://www.flickr.com/photos/wallrevolution/215928761/
