Yeah I have been watching WWE forever, and I cant beleive a LOD meber died, HAWK was probaly my fav wrestler of all time. They would walk down the ramp wearing the shoulder pads with the spikes on them, and yes wrestling was a lot better back in the day.

arrowhead wrote:I dont know how old most of you guys are, but to me wrestling has sucked since about wrestlemania 6. Back then, the pay per views were like 3 times a year. Summer slam, battle royal, and wrestlemania. Now you have PPV events all the time, and wrestling on like 4 times a week. Man, I remember all we had was saturday night at 11pm, and monday night 9-11 with bobby heenan and monsoon. We had good guys and bad guys and that was it. We had disqualifications when other wrestlers interfeared with a bout, now anyone can come in the ring and eff the whole damn thing up. We had 3 belts, intercontinental, tag team, and heavy weight, and we had people that only wrestled in those classes. None of this poop like "tonite you two are gonna wrestle you two because I say so, and Im the ref". poop we had great tag teams like demolition with axe & smash, the road warriors, the heart connection, the rockers, the bushwackers ect.. Anyway enough of my rant, wrestling sucks ass now.
Here here! I totally agree with you LOD Bushwackers and Hart Foundations great Teams, btw what was the Sean Michaels was in? They were good

I preferred it when there were only those 3 belts nowadays Wrestling is more like a Soap Opera and not half as entertaining as it used to be its become a joke imo.
Regards.

Marty Janetty is my hero

I remember when they broke up. Marty was on Brutus "the Barber" Beefcake's show, and Shawn Michaels ran in and threw Marty through a plate glass window out of nowhere.

The good old days.

The Barber Shop bit is also on the Royal Rumble '92 tape. Most tape traders have old 80's & 90's comps although the video quality is usually average on them. amazon.com & ebay both have old tapes as well, just do a search for WWF & WCW.

This guy has a tape with that funeral parlor segment on it (tape 2):

THE STORY OF THE ULTIMATE WARRIOR

Yeah, most people probably do know, he was wearing the Blue Blazer costume when he died, although when he was that character back in the late 80's I didn't know it was him.

I was wondering what happened to Herc the other week after I downloaded a match with him in it, wasn't that surprised when I heard he had died though because he seemed pretty roided up during his WWF days. He was only 45, thought he would have been older than that.
