Best video game music?

What's your favorite tune from a video game? My two favorites are probably the Monolith Burger theme from Space Quest 3 and the title theme from Police Quest 2

I could make a book on good game music. Look for remixes of old SNES games and you will find some good stuff.

I miss the Sierra Adventure games. I loved the Space Quest, Kings Quest, and Larry games. Mainly SQ and KQ, but the Larry games was ok. Space Quest had a lot of good music in it. Bad thing is most people never got to hear it cause the average person was lucky to have a cheap Sound Blaster card, let alone a Wavetable Sound card back then. The opening theme to Space Quest 1 VGA is pretty good on a good sound card.

You and I have the exact oposite taste. Let's keep that in mind just in case we ever get into an arguement. :(

Utada Hikaru's 'Simple And Clean' off of Kingdom Hearts. Hand's down winner. No contest. I probably listen to that song at least 3 times a day. It's just that good.

Some runners up:

Aries' Theme on FFVII
Ending song to Sonic 2
The Kirby theme song
Mad Capsule Markets' 'Pulse' off of THPS3
The first stage's song on Ikaruga

grab some of her other songs, they are excellent.

as for me, jet set radio future has an amazing soundtrack, if anything, for its sheer diversity in it.

Nobuo Uematsu, Nobuyuki Iwadare, and Yasunori Mitsuda are some of the best.

and Yuki Kajiura is a great newcomer to the game scene (did the score for hack//sign and the .hack games,
