The whole game is played out in the same way as the DC conversion of Shenmue.

Many of the buildings, characters and scenes are also reproduced within the game, such as Ryo, Tom the hot dog man, Ryo's father also makes an appearance to!!

As you can see many changes have occurred in the overall appearance of the characters, however they are still recognizable.

the saturn was great but never liked by the usa gamers at the time

spec's

THE saturn was more powerfull system in the right hands and yes it would of been better at 3D grafix to had there been a program that was up to it.You see it was far easyer to program for the PSX

one thing that allways get's said is the saturn was no good at 3d that just plain wrong it was but was never used

i find those screens hard to believe because i mean.. it says "shenmue, saturn version." what kind of game *ever* has had that in the title? or is it just some in-house thing... and if it was, wouldn't it be in japanese not english?

its plenty worth it to get a saturn, if you can track down the games..
any one who says the saturn cant do 3d, take a look at level 3 and 5 of radiant silvergun. the high res background textures they use can be passed for a dc game, easily.

San Francisco Rush. (I hate the N64, but I <3 the Rush series.)

Oh, and by the way... I've read in several reputable sources that the Saturn's sound processing system alone is more powerful than all of the systems in the Playstation combined. (I believe it was somewhere in the ten thousand page Saturn history thing at an unofficial Sega website. If someone has a link, I'll confirm it.)

I always aid the Saturn was a better system hardware wise then the ps1. I wasn't aware it was hard to program till recently though. I would say that HAS to be where it failed.

I'm sorry, but whoever said that GTA3 is better than anything on the Dreamcast is right.

No1 wants to believe me that PS2 sucks! aspecialy for its price!
The DC comes very close to PS2, and if anything, some1 should buy a GC or Xbox for today's standards rather then a PS2 - which as i said is crap design, DC is better concidering that it is older and cheaper.
I know I have heard all this stuff about DC so close to the ps2. But I have never seen a game on DC come close to FFX. And Im not just talking about the cutscenes either. Same with GTA3 on ps2. I do agree the ps2 should be better due to its price and the fact it is newer though.
Are you kidding? I think DOA2's graphics were WAY better than GTA3's. Gta3's are very disapointing in my book but the game is extremely great.

well gta 3 graphics couldn't of been super. the maps were huge. they needed to some how compress the textures. but i'm sure vice city will geta big face lift. gta 3 was great.

It could have been ported, but the graphics would have taken a small hit.

Yea it was really cool, it was the first day of school, and i was talking to a friend about how i was gonna buy a saturn online soon, and he told me hed sell me his for 5 bucks, i of course thought he was kidding, so i asked im he was for real, he told me hed sell me his saturn for 5 bucks with 20 games and he brought it the next day. so...i paid him the 5 bucks and went home with saturn, 20 games, the analog flight stick controller, an official multi-tap, and an official backup cartridge...pretty sweet eh? 8)

Your. Friend. Is. Stupid.
He probably wanted to jump the bandwagon and buy the next big thing, so he was so desprate for any kind of money, and he sold his Saturn and 20 games for 5 bucks.

Oh. Ok. I'll just crawl in a corner and cry about my lack of Saturn games. All I have is a boxing game, Daytona, Sega Rally or something, a demo disc, and 2 baseball games.
