I use SVN at the moment. I know a lot of people prefer Git.
I have only ever used SVN for work, so that's what I'm used to...
... maybe someday I will stop being a stubborn asshole and try new things.

My normal canned response would be that it depends on what you're using it for, but at this point, I don't really see a good reason to suggest SVN over Git anymore.
Git requires a lot less in the way of infrastructure to get working, and works exceedingly well without any sort of central repository.
