Both matches were boring, but so is 90% of every other football match out there. We'll just have to wait for Spain or Chile to bring some spectacle.

Those horns are seriously annoying. They add nothing to the atmosphere as they just keep a constant buzzing sound on the tv

Chile sucks, Bielsa sucks, Spain sucks too much (sorry but you will never win a World Cup). I'm hoping that Carlitos Tevez bring some old style soccer and there's always one or two small teams that surprise everyone (like Turkey 2002, Camerun 90, Senegal 2002...Maybe Paraguay now).

Association football, the world's most popular sport.

Unfortunately, I'm not a fan of any of 'em. Image

It was the best game of the tournament so far though, Argentina v Nigeria was also entertaining earlier in the day, but more than a little one-sided (thankfully Vincent Enyeama the Nigerian Goalkeeper kept the final score at a sane and not so embarrassing level). South Korea v Greece wasn't too bad, but the only real highlight was someone actually won the first World Cup match.

I really enjoyed watching England v USA, it had a bit of everything the fans have come to expect from an England match (apart from the dreaded Penalty shoot-out of course). USA deserved the equalizer, but I wished they'd have scored from the second half strike that Robert Green saved and not the clown trick that Green displayed in the first half.

I don't want an England match to give me what I expect. I want them to win.

Why? You hate England. Isn't that why you left?

After watching Serbia - Ghana, I think Australia has a good chance of passing the group round.

Algeria v Slovania was boring with the only highlight being a first World Cup match win by Slovania, Serbia v Ghana wasn't that good either but I'm glad the Africans got the win.

Germany v Australia was way too much a one-sided game (as the score reflects), a little harsh that Australia went down to ten men but the German squad has some fine strikers again this time around.

Could've been more, but Germany didn't push it. Australia let me down.

SPAIN LOSE SPAIN LOSE
Cup upset. At least it puts our 1-1 draw in perspective.

This is about the time I start getting bored until the round of 16. Chile v Honduras isn't exactly the match-up I was born to see.

"Not nearly good enough!" (that is putting it extremely mildly for England).

After watching the England v USA match I thought this World Cup would be different, USA pulled back their match to a draw earlier today after being two-nil down to Slovenia, stupidly I was almost expecting the same excitement from England v Algeria.

I have only lost just under two hours of my life watching those overpaid cunts do absolutely nothing with a football, my condolences go out to anyone who actually paid to watch that amateur shit.

It's about time the purse holders of the English national squad told their players that they will not get paid a penny until they actually play football, that means no fucking sports car, no fucking mansion, and no fucking dumb blonde whore as a trophy wife!.

Well done England, you've done the remaining fragments of the UK proud yet again!.

On a World Cup positive note: The superior Germany football squad were defeated by a very underestimated Serbia earlier today (at least both teams played some professional football).
