BleemCast! (not the leaked beta...)

This forum is for discussion pertaining to homebrew and indie software for the Dreamcast, such as homebrew games, emulators/interpreters, and other homebrew software/applications. Porting requests and developmental ideas are not to be made here; you can make those here. If you need any help burning discs for homebrew software, this is the place to ask as well.

BleemCast! (not the leaked beta...)

Post by mog123 » Mon Jan 22, 2007 8:29 am

Hi everyone, after reading all of the info on BleemCast, i saw that there isn't anything about the legality of the 3 gamepacks (MGS2, T3, GT2)
So is it legal to share them? There's only written not to share/ask about the leaked beta.
So i'm asking about the official ones.

Sharing the officially released bleem discs would be like sharing GD-Rom images. Both are illegal.

To answer your question, no its not legal to share them, and you cannot do it here.

The official Bleemcast is a commercial product, not a homebrew/freeware emulator.

Yes, it would be as illegal as sharing GD-ROM images, but the B!C was released in CD-ROM media with a custom protection scheme.

Just making sure the newbies don't get confused :P.
