Sierra games

This forum is for discussion pertaining to homebrew and indie software for the Dreamcast, such as homebrew games, emulators/interpreters, and other homebrew software/applications. Porting requests and developmental ideas are not to be made here; you can make those here. If you need any help burning discs for homebrew software, this is the place to ask as well.

I am not sure which games you are trying to play but this is a dos emulator for dreamcast. You should be able to get many dos games to work. It can't hurt to try.

Nope. There's no PC engine reimplementation that can play that game either at the moment.

The subversion daily builds of ScummVM now have support for the Sierra AGI engine as well. You can grab that at my ScummVM for Dreamcast Support Page:

I'm more interested in getting the Quest for Glory games running, I consider them the best series that Sierra released; yes and even 5 is great although it's different .. 4 and 1 were my favorites though.

Quest for Glory 1 works fine with FreeSCI stable.

I remember Phantom mentioned something about Torin's Passage when I asked him if it ran on FreeSCI awhile back. Does it run yet?

No, Torin's Passage is not supported.

And from the Quest for Glory series, only the EGA version of part 1 is supported.

Yes, basically the Sarien project has been imported by ScummVM (with the permission of the authors, even though this is not strictly necessary).

(It's unlikely that the same thing will happen with FreeSCI, in case anyone was wondering.)
