Help burning DCGNUboy with NERO or DJ

Post by bentodd »

I have tried both images from dc emulation and also from ( a bit of a dodgy site - az_bont ). Nero says "Bad block address" and DJ rejects it and asks for another disc. Does anyone know what the problem is.

Thanks.

Try this one instead:

Download: http://www.dcevolution.net/cgi-bin/down ... pgbgbc.rar
Info & Covers: http://www.dcevolution.net/goto.php?id=29

Then follow this tutorial:
Burning a .CDI file with BootDreams:

To burn a *.CDI file, it's recommend to use BootDreams' CDI-burner. BootDreams is VERY easy to use and it's for free:

Download: http://consolevision.com/members/fackue ... ms_061.exe
Website: http://www.consolevision.com/members/fa ... eams.shtml

1. Download BootDreams and install it to e.g. C:/BootDreams/

2. Download the image you'd like to burn and unzip/unrar it somewhere, e.g. to C:/

3. Start BootDreams and choose "CDI Burner". Now click on "Browse" and point BootDreams to the CDI you would like to burn.

4. Click on "Burn CDI Image". That's it.

If BootDreams doesn't recognize your CD drive, download WNASPI32.ZIP and unzip it in your C:/BootDreams/Tools/ folder:

I can;t get bootdreams to work on my computer. Whenever I use DJ it says buffer underrun. whenever I use NERO it says invalid block address.

How are you opening the file in DJ? If you are double clicking on the CDI file try instead running DJ first and then opening the CDI with the File..Open menu.

For me DJ often crashes if I click on a .CDI file.

Whenever I use DJ it says buffer underrun.
You will find that burning slower will fix that.
