Its in spanish but from what I understand, Ron is saying that it isnt a fake and is being worked on.

Ok, I?ll try to translate it the better I can (I?m Spanish).

It seems that initially this was tought as a prank for "El d?a de los Inocentes" (or April Fool?s Day for americans), but he was really working on Nincast all this time. He says it?s on a very early stage of development, and that he will need help and time, but the emu runs some roms now.

Finally, he apoligizes if someone has been offended by this, and wishes a Merry Crishtmas for everyone.

How can someone achive to have N64 playable when Snes isn't even full speed........ let me guess, because n64 is 3d,so id be easier to do and playing with 6 buttons OUCH.

Just because we cant do some things, does not mean we cant start on others. I mean, even Nintendo is not fully emulated on the PC, but some people managed to start work on ps2 and xbox emulators. So your point is rendered invalid, Dreamcast4life. Sorry.

I wonder how they will implement the z button and 6 buttons... Perhaps they have a fix for recognizing 6 button controllers (real ones, not ones which have the extras pointing to l and r)?

More or less. I think they were working on it since the beggining, but they wanted to do the prank and then surprise everyone with the release.

BTW, the screenshots are fake, but the emu exists. And they?ve started a GBAdvance emu too (AvanDc I think it?s called. And not, this is not a joke).

Seeing how much commotion it caused at NGemu with the screenshot stuff, I will not take this news to the submission forums over there, however I did notify Bobbi (webmaster) about this statement. I want to be very sure of my case before rushing into things and taking it into public again over there.

the advance emu should run at 20fps with crappy sound, this sounds awesome

Actually, the way I read it was that he said that it was a prank, but now after the prank has ended he has started working on it. There isn't a large distinction except that it means there isn't any dreamcast n64 core by fox yet and nothing is actually running on the dreamcast.

Also, it is AdvanzDC I'm pretty sure, and he is claiming 20fps in a certain commercial game (space invaders)

Wait, do tc's map all the ps/2 buttons to a software button (like those c and z buttons that were discovered by either I think the browser community or bleemcast hackers?)?

Not I personally, but that's what the original post said, before it was proven to be a prank for dia de los innocentes.

It's really being worked on now, but I wouldn't expect a release any time soon.
