4-controller support with MAME

4-controller support with MAME

2 questions:

which is a better emu, MAME, or MAMEDDC

do either of them have support for 4 player games, like the simpsons and xmen.

I have a better question: Will either of the MAMEs run Simpsons or X-men well? I'd burn it just for that. :o

Quick answer, probably not complete:
Look at the size of the rom. Is it less than ~12-14 MB? Then it is worth a try. I have never tried either MAME, but I assume if it fits in memory and is supported by MAME it will run, though perhaps choppy and not playable.
