Excellent job man... this should be stickied.

You did forget MAME though... :?

[EDIT:] Also, the UAE4ALL link is a link to NEO4ALL...

Fixed. :)

Hm, maybe I'll add WowMAME... The other ports aren't exactly up to date iirc.

there is one other thing that really needs to be done (imo).
romcenter dats (or suchlike) for the single game emus and possibly the MAME ones too.

the scene is constricting somewhat and needs to be made more 'user frendly' imo.

for example i really want to use the Galaga emu but i don't have the first idea as to which roms are required.
(most of the these emus seem to be based on older versions of MAME sets)

I haven't tried it personally, but isn't Toastman's Chip 8 emulator (Whack a Mole) a good emulator?

BTW, nice list! I also agree it should be stickied. :D

I've got some more suggestions. I'm not sure exactly how good these are because I haven't tried them, but they sound like they're pretty good:

DreamMSX (MSX Emulator, full speed and sound)
Apple II Soul Captor (Apple II emulator, full speed with 50% sound)
DreamSpec (spectrum emulator, best one currently for DC)
OswanDC (Oswan and Bandai WonderSwan emulator)
Quzar's PCEngine/TG16 emulator (can't remember what it's called)

I'm not sure about any of Ian Micheal's ports because again I haven't tried them, but if anyone can vouch for them that would be great.

If you're looking for DCHomebrew type emulators, then I would highly recommend these:

ScummVM DC
FreeSCI
SarienDC

Hope this helps! :)

Thanks. I don't think I'll add any of IMR's emulators, except maybe WowMAME, which is pretty good.

Apple II Soul Captor is already listed. The other ones mentioned aren't as good as the ones above or outdated.
For MSX emulation fMSXDC is the best, for Sinclair Spectrum I recommend DCSpeccyal K which is already listed.

ScummVM DC

Thanks a lot. These really need to be mentioned! :o

ScummVM is excellent (despite being off-center on my TV for some reason)

HuCast is the name of the PCEngine emulator. It is the best one currently availible for the Dreamcast (doesn't say much for DreamEngine). It also plays PCE CD games from isos although they arent that playable.

If I were making a list like this I would at least put one emulator in the list for each emulated system, regardless of wether it's very good or not, just because it would still be the best on the dreamcast.

No. For me it does not make much sense to add a half-finished emulator in that list. I'd like to add only the best emulators that really are user-friendly and fun to play with. I am still not sure about fMSXDC: Emulation is perfect but the GUI isn't any good.
As soon as HuCast features full-screen emulation and a key combination allowing to go back to the GUI it'll happily add it to the list :D

lol, meh, w/e. the only problem is that then it makes it look like there simply isn't TG16 (or <insert other console name here>) emulation on the dreamcast.

I'll be making a new compilation disc using your suggestions so I can properly judge each aspect of the emulator and then make an appropriate .sbi file. Thanks for the help. O_o

So I was gonna ask if there was a Saturn emulator for DC bu I'm sure it'd be on that list if there was.

I guess the DC processer probably isn't powerful enough to emulate it. Oh well.

So then my next(first) question would be if there is a SegaCD emulator for the DC?

*but then again if Bleem is able to play PSX games than maybe the DC can play Saturn. So feel free to make my day with the good news.
