Neo CD problem... please help!

Post by TyBO »

I must say, NeoCD by Quzar is an excellent emulator... I was very surprised to see NeoGeo CD games running at full speed on Dreamcast, and I'd like to thank Quzar for all his hard work on this project. :D

With that said, I have a problem. I'm trying to burn backed up NeoGeo CD games so that they will play on my Dreamcast with sound. I have the games in ISO/MP3 format, and I've figured out how to burn the ISO so that the game will play, but I can't figure out how to burn the MP3's so I get sound in the game.

I'm currently using Nero to burn all my CDs... any help on what to do would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks... :D

Err... I just figured out what to do... sorry I posted this.

For those of you who might have had the same question:

After a lot of research, I discovered that using a program called Sega Cue Maker, you create a CUE file out of the ISO/MP3s, then you simple open Nero, choose Burn Disc Image, and burn the CUE file to the disc.

Sega Cue Maker: http://www.fortunecity.com/underworld/stunt/644/

Again, sorry I posted this thread before doing more research. A mod can lock this now.

Did you try Neo4All ? It's much faster than NeoDC.

Well... I have both but I can't really see a big difference between the 2. I use NeoCD because it doesn't have those annoying Loading screens whenever something's loading.

I guess I'll have to use Neo4All a little more though...

Yeah, try beta 2. That's the latest version irrc:

http://chui.dcemu.co.uk/

Edit: You need to try it with the standard settings. Do not fiddle around with the options (except maybe set the Bios to Japanese) and load your game right away.

...but you're right with the loading menu! Pretty annoying.

Hey, we're not allowed to discuss burning backups into iso/mp3 format. Please don't ask. :D
