This forum is for discussion pertaining to homebrew and indie software for the Dreamcast, such as homebrew games, emulators/interpreters, and other homebrew software/applications. Porting requests and developmental ideas are not to be made here; you can make those
here . If you need any help burning discs for homebrew software, this is the place to ask as well.

Indeed, but this would be pretty sweet too. I wonder if he will use larger graphics for the DC version? Also, I hope Nintendo doesn't murder him in his sleep.

Not bad. Definately sounds cool.

How do I get it onto the GP32? I have one in my closet somewhere, but this would be nice. I wonder if he will let us do custom sprites for it so it will look better than the screenshot.

That would be nice. I would like to see it with original sprites, instead of using the tired Mario and Sonic sprites.
Might be kind of cool to see Echo (from trilinear's game) in there, but I'm guessing there'd be some issues trying to get permission to use him.

This is one of the most interesting things ive seen to possibly hit the DC. it looks great lets just hope it plays great. i like the idea of having mario and sonic in it cause then you can have the age old battle whos better sonic or mario hehe. lets hope this actually makes its way to DC.

We can't use the most obvious name (SmashDC), because that's already used (by, interestingly enough, SmashDC). SmashGP doesn't really work if it's a Dreamcast game, and SmashGPDC is really unweildy.
