wassup with super famicast?

This forum is for discussion pertaining to homebrew and indie software for the Dreamcast, such as homebrew games, emulators/interpreters, and other homebrew software/applications. Porting requests and developmental ideas are not to be made here; you can make those here. If you need any help burning discs for homebrew software, this is the place to ask as well.

I think it stands for Dream Season. In addition to using your Dreamcast to emulate other consoles, play mp3 files, DivX movies, and view jpegs from your latest house party, you can use your DC to change the season outside. Live in Southern California and want to go sledding in your own backyard ? No problem. Just use Dream Season to change the weather outside to Winter that rival the Northeast. Tired of lake effect snow? No problem. Just use Dream Season to change the temperature. The first release will be limited to only changing the temperature in cold climates, so you will still get lake effect rain. Future versions will allow you to bring the Sun out. Act now, and get DT for free. Yes, Dream Toaster, the only way to make perfect toast to eat before you go out sledding for that season of weather you always wanted with DS.

(little sleep, can't you tell).

DirectS? What's that then - a programming API you can use to control scherzo more effectively than the old SDI (Scherzo Device Interface) methods in Scherzo 3.1?

Yes. because we all know that DirectX allows you to master the X directly and haness the amazing power of X. :P

Yep. We don't like you and want you to leave.

...

Well, not really. We're just playing with ya. None of us have any decent ideas, and I'm sure that even if someone guessed it correctly you wouldn't admit what it is.

Project DS

Post by Fabrizo »

Well, I figure sense everyone else is making gueses at what project DS is ill give it a shot to. DS could stand for "Dreamcast Server". NesterDC SE supposidly will be able to be played with other via the net right? Perhaps Scherzo is working on making a central hub sort of thing (maybe even for games other then NesterDC SE...?).

Just my 2c.

yeah, I want translated roms guys, when you play imports and can't read japanese then there is a problem, I was raised to read english and I am the type of gamer that
likes to know what goes on in a video game but none of the less, I will await Full speed and sound snes emulation for that purpose.
