ljsdcdev Project L (aka, yabause-dc)

This forum is for discussion pertaining to homebrew and indie software for the Dreamcast, such as homebrew games, emulators/interpreters, and other homebrew software/applications. Porting requests and developmental ideas are not to be made here; you can make those here. If you need any help burning discs for homebrew software, this is the place to ask as well.

before people be too much excited and quickly disapointed i think its fair to recall that the original emulator cant run much things but the BIOS. so dont expect to play any commercial game at decent speed with this port, unless bluecrab rewrites some parts to asm but that wouldnt solve everything to me.
anyway, very interesting project, i wish you the best luck.

Thanks everyone for your support, and speud is right on this one. It doesn't run anything but the bios, at this point, and well is, slow... very slow...

Anyway, I expect it to improve.

Well allways support you Blue crab your a fantastic person and a great coder. You know you kept me coming back and doing coding all the help you gave me with my forum and coding and with SDL. Any thing i can do to help i would be happy to do so.

It will be great to see the CD player working in the bios one time i dont know if it does or not yet. I do love :D the saturn CD player interface.

Good and inspiring to see things that were thought pretty much impossable starting to happen. best years for emulation on the dreamcast are ahead!.

Borrow a phase from Wrestlemania this year it all starts again hehe

Nice Job. :D

Does the CD player work?

Speaking of Saturn Emulators, I was just reading through the Chrono Trigger Resurection message board and noticed this interesting post.

http://www.xsorbit2.com/users/chronotri ... 1085465937

It looks like one of the main programmers had started a Saturn Emulator for Dreacmast. Maybe he could offer some help or assistance of some sort.
