This forum is for discussion pertaining to homebrew and indie software for the Dreamcast, such as homebrew games, emulators/interpreters, and other homebrew software/applications. Porting requests and developmental ideas are not to be made here; you can make those here. If you need any help burning discs for homebrew software, this is the place to ask as well.

I've been tryin' to convert .rm files for use with dcdivx,I used Tinra and I only get an AUDIO conversion (no video) Can someone please help? DOS program runs...audio then video. Please, any advice would be appreciated.
As of right, as far as I can tell theres not much of a way to do it except extract the audio (with something like the plugin for Winamp) and then use a screen capture program to take shots of RealPlayer every frame (which isn't likely to work well). I've never been able to get Tinra to work right (I wanted to convert my ranma, oh my Goddess and Southparks over to VCD).
Thank's for the heads-up on Vegas. I'm checking it out now. Also, in their comparison charts, they say Premere, Avid, and something from Ulead have Real support too.
You know, instead of having to convert RM stuff, if there was a RealMedia player for DC, we wouldn't have to worry about it :-) I'd much rather deal with my 1 disc of Ranma season 1 real videos then have to convert them to VCD and burn them to 8 or 6 discs (I may be able to fit 3 to a disc)
