Yes, they are mostly Mahjongg games. You can check the titles/romnames in this database: http://www.mame.dk

About speeding up the MAME core:

I talked a while back with JW Surine, and he told me that the sound emulation is so slow, because the PC MAME source copies the samples moreoften through the RAM then neccessary.

Maybe you could check this?

A Capcom driver with fullspeed & sound would rock !!!

ill give it try

Post by reaper2k2 » Sat Oct 12, 2002 6:44 pm

Ill give it a try steve

well the control code is still causing trouble for me in theory its right but theres no a button at the moment if when i fix the control code

it be worth puting out im using bits from all the source codes and some from the lates mame code

any way ill try compile any think any one wants single game packs etc

if some one has the control fix code for the source version

m37b15sdc.tar

im using this as a leaning tool ive got quiet a few cds full of test builds

xmen failed due to errors in eeprom.o look at it later g2g lol

that are faster slower or just plain crash the sound driver does not work at all in my edits so far.

its quiet overwhelming what can be done with the mame source and it really is fun to work with

as for chat im retired from that was a chat vet and live in chat rooms once ill never go back lol

i'd forget Xmen, the nightmares, and horror .... *scream* . Already tried it a while back when DC was the thing.
If you think typing 'make' is hard, forget coding.
If you can't figure out the commands to DC-Tool, forget coding.
If you think coding is as easy as typing printf("Hello World\n"); , shoot yourself.

i got xmen to compile

Post by reaper2k2 » Sat Oct 12, 2002 10:03 pm

i got xmen to compile going to burn it now see if i got it to work or not

i say not i had to change a lot in the epprom file and xmen driver

if any one wants any of these i compile there mostly over 2 meg so if theres a ftp i can upload to or some think like that .....

i not waste a cd on them since the control code is broken

Romset: 9088 kb / 12 files / 4.04 zip thats a bit large it just reboots when you select the game

too bad

ok i found out theres a few diffrent xmen.zip romsets

found one at : 4,05 Mo ( 4243340 octets) ill try that
