Shooting clays ran at 7-10fps with the internal bios.
I'd like to test some more PSX homebrew but I don't know how to make PSX images from the exe files :?

THPS [beta] ran at maybe 3-4fps with the internal bios.

good job

Nice release.... I must give you credit. I have yet to redo a dynamic recompiler, and you have that already somewhat up and running!! I wouldn't mind helping you with coding a more hardware specific(i.e.: Power VR based) plugin. I wish to help you code. Please reply ASAP. BTW. I tried running Final Fantasy 8, The intro menue I couldn't tell what speed it was going at, because I hit the "circle" button, and I went into the intro mpeg. That was going at like 8 fps, while in game world 4 fps and battles 2fps.

Ok I'd like to sumite one.

Dance Dance Revolution 5th Mix
Runs at about 3-5fps very slow and not to playable.
All the menus are at fullscreen and seem to work but slowly.
Once you have selected you character and it starts the stage errors start.
The screen is a small box in the middle of the screen.(Its still viewable.)
It runs so slow that I couldnt tell if it froze or not.(which I think it didnt)
The little bars will still flash every minute it seems.
Tested with spch1001 bios.
DNR the current kickass dc programer. Thanks
for the emulator I've been waiting 2 years for.

Thanks to Reaper2k2 also for showing interest into WSC emulation.

I still can't get Choanaki to boot up.

The Final Fantasy V comment is pretty dead-on. It took about a half an hour for the intro speech to run through. As well, the game booted up kinda funny, displaying some garbage and other oddities before getting to the new/load/options screen.

2. Twisted Metal small brawl could not get this game to load at all
3. Sammy Sosa high heat baseball does about the same thing nascar 2001 does plays intro but wont load the game.

Final Fantasy 4 from final fantasy chronicals only gets a bout 2-3fps, takes a long time to get to main menu. In game intro movie plays incredibly slow, tkaes about 4 mins to complete. Cant read in game text, because of flashing over text. Battles are about 1-2fps.

After a bit of work, I got Choaniki to run. The size of the bin file with the game and the redbook audio exceeded 700 megs, so I had to trim the audio. My first rip I did with a homemade program, which just lifted the data track. No luck. I decided to try CDRwin and do the same thing. At 99% complete, it came up with an error that sectors 154710-154718 couldn't be extracted. I then tried ripping the whole game, audio and game. Extracted fine, but was too big.

Finally, I ripped sectors 000000 to 154709. Works fine. Those last few kilobytes must be the data that tells it to read the redbook audio, and the data checker that CDRwin has must not have known what the hell to do.

The intro movie is less than a frame a second.. probably 1 frame/2 seconds. The menus work wonderfully, about 100% speed. The game itself runs about 2-3 frames a second.

To be tested:
-Pepsiman
-Pocket Fighter
-Crazy Climber 2k

hmmm 30 fps I think. Still this is a start :-p . Good work goes to Mark, let's hope using the PVR will make things faster.
If you think typing 'make' is hard, forget coding.
If you can't figure out the commands to DC-Tool, forget coding.
If you think coding is as easy as typing printf("Hello World\n"); , shoot yourself.

Well.. I think it should, but remember, he's still missing stuff in the dynamic recompiler. Once thats fully done along with the Graphics plugin, we should be playing games with sound, no problem.

Real PSX speed is dependant on the game. Usually 3D games are locked at 30 frames per second while 2D games go up to 60.
