MPEG Layer-3 Codec

Post by Mark064 » Tue Jun 18, 2002 4:03 am

So I tried to encode a video in the correct way to burn it from DC Divx. I followed the tutorial but it failed me! Right on Step 7. I click MPEG Layer-3 and nothing is there. So I tried to follow the insturctions in the sticky topic, and still nothing is there. I really need help before I go insane.

This will happen with some files. Just check the box saying 'show all formats' and continue. It should work fine.

I tried that and still nothing showed up. I also checked other video files and they were all the same.

I have ran into this problem before.

You are just missing the right codec, try downloading the codec on the URL below and install it.
