I created an atari800.cfg creator for easily creating customised configuration files for the Atari 800 emulator.

You can find it at the Atari DC 800 Info Site.

Bero has ported the SDL library to the DC, that's awesome ..... :P

Check
http://www.geocities.co.jp/Playtown/2004/dcdev/

What is SDL : Simple DirectMedia Layer is a cross-platform multimedia library designed to provide fast access to the graphics framebuffer and audio device. It is used by MPEG playback software, emulators, and many popular games, including the award winning Linux port of "Civilization: Call To Power." Simple DirectMedia Layer supports Linux, Win32, BeOS, MacOS, Solaris, IRIX, and FreeBSD.

SDL is written in C, but works with C++ natively, and has bindings to several other languages, including Ada, Eiffel, ML, Perl, PHP, Python, and Ruby.

Some (great) news about dreammp3 :
dreammp3 has change its name for dcplaya !
The project is no more a single mp3 player. It currently plays mp3, ogg, sid, sc68 and modules files. No official release date is provided. But it is very close.
you can see a screenshot of the player interface on the official site :
