VGA Box Tutorial?

Be it from the interest in doing something like this, to a lack of funds.

I was wondering if anyone here knew where to find a tutorial on how to build a VGA box for the DC? I browsed through the threads here and couldn't find the one I've seen before. Maybe it's buried in a thread with a unrelated title?

I don't know about a tutorial, but I did see a schematic floating around years ago. This might be the same one.

After further reading, I determined my best option would be just to buy it.

I would like to try some kind of mod, or build some component from scratch eventually.
