ATPI Drivers problem

Anything DreamSNES-related can be asked in this forum, such as general questions about the emulator, how to burn it, etc.

ATPI Drivers problem

Post by Seto Kiaba »

Ok, I was trying to install DreamSNES, and it wouldn't find my CD-burner. The tutorial told me to install the ATPI Drivers. The instructions for those said to copy them into the "winNT" folder, but no such folder exists on my computer. I have a WINDOWS folder that has a "system" and "system 32" file like the folder I am copying. The instructions say to just let them overwrite everything, but they look like they could be important system files. Am I missing something that I am suppose to do?

What tool are you using to selfboot? If you use BootDream 1.0.1a you should not have ASPI problems.

Uh, ATAPI? That's controlled by your mainboard, IIRC.

I am assuming you mean ASPI drivers? If that's what you need here is a link:

And yes, let them overwrite, if it is what I stated above.
