locale or local

Anything DreamSNES-related can be asked in this forum, such as general questions about the emulator, how to burn it, etc.

locale or local

Post by SpaceDog »

I followed the instructions for creating the DreamSNES disc with self boot inducer and .cdi files. I have since been through them again to verify and the only discrepancy I can find is that the directions indicate a "local" folder, which is actually called "locale" in the unzipped files provided. Should this be renamed to local? Could there be another reason my disc won't boot?

I also deleted the original MP3 and added my own, but there are MP3s in the folder.

It's "locale" as in localization of language, not "local" as in location. The zip is correct. Renaming it will mean that you only get English as alternative for the menus.
