sega saturn

If you have any questions on programming, this is the place to ask them, whether you're a newbie or an experienced programmer. Discussion on programming in general is also welcome. We will help you with programming homework, but we will not do your work for you! Any porting requests must be made in Developmental Ideas.

Disclaimer:
This is not a porting request.
I am not saying a saturn emulator is now definitely possible.
This is just a heads-up for anyone who may be interested

Sega Satourne, the pc saturn emulator, will soon be going open-source.

Okay... So, if I get the open source... will someone guide me step by step on porting it? I've never programmed before, and I need someone to help me port the emulator... I won't take ALL the credit... just for the idea...

It be easier just to rewrite the whole thing over again and it would come out better to.
DNR the current kickass dc programer. Thanks
for the emulator I've been waiting 2 years for.

Thanks to Reaper2k2 also for showing interest into WSC emulation.

But, a Saturn Emu would be nice....

Maybe in a year or two, when I learn enough to do it, I'll look into it....

Later!

Wait a minute... how in the hell did an almost year old topic get brought up again....

Regardless... no. If you want to talk about porting it either

a) Really learn something and talk real technical implementation details
b) beg in the porting forum....
