Looking for a mentor.

If you have any questions on programming, this is the place to ask them, whether you're a newbie or an experienced programmer. Discussion on programming in general is also welcome. We will help you with programming homework, but we will not do your work for you! Any porting requests must be made in Developmental Ideas.

Looking for a mentor.

Post by epicasian »

Hey guys,

As the title states, I'm looking for someone to aid me with Dreamcast game development. I'm not a complete newbie; I am competent in C++, and have looked through and studied the example Dreamcast programs. Somehow, when I copy the code from some of the examples, and put in my own file, I get runtime errors.

I really love the Dreamcast, and am self motivated enough to learn how to develop for it. However, constantly seeing my code fail is sort of a motivation killer.

If anyone has the free time to mentor me, it will be very appreciated,

Thank you for your time,
~EpicAsian

Hi. Post the source files and errors you are getting in them and someone will help you figure them out. Do the examples run on their own?
