Yeah if they didn't have the shit levels to start with and just had good levels, it'd be an awesome game. There wasn't much replayablity for me in either because of the shit levels

Well I actually played all stages to unlock Green Hill Zone, so I spent countless hours with everyone although trasure hunting was the only thing which I tried to avoid as much as possible in my replay.

I was going for Knuckle's annoying Chaos emerald radar thing in SA2. It's been years since I've played it though so I'm probably way off. I just remember it drove me insane.

Ah, never played enough to remember that. I heard the sound of sonic grabbing a line a rings while speeding up. Far more pleasing.

Interesting. I'd prefer it if they'd just abandon the Sonic Adventure character design already, but while this is admittedly the equivalent of throwing up their hands and saying "I give up," it does at least look like the first Sonic game worth playing in several years.

Doubt it, the fact that they destroyed "SONIC THE HEDGEHOG" name in 2006 by releasing a game that functioned as a Beta at best as a finished product... I doubt they would want to do justice to Sonic the Hedgehog 4.

For the record I really think Sonic 06 could've been the best Sonic game had it been in finished form.

god I hope there not trying to do the "builds up to arm extended running" animation it looks retarded in 2d, i wish they would use the classic animation where its just a blur of spinning shoes....
