Sega Saturn

Post by Zealous zerotype »

At a near by game store they have a few sega saturns for sale. Well, they are only 50 bucks and I was wondering if that is a good price AND what must have saturn games I should get (price/rareness doesn't matter, just list em').

Panzer Dragoon 1 and 2 was pretty good. If you like Clockwork Knight 1 Id imagine you would like 2 as well.

Bug was a pretty decent game as well. $50 for just the system seems kinda steep though, but I haven't really priced them lately. Nights into Dreams is best played with the 3D controller. a lot of times the game is sold with that controller.

Saturn has TONS of fighting games...
Darkstalkers
Vampire Savior
Street Fighter Alpha 1, 2, and 3 (but pointless if you have the anthology on PS2)
King of Fighters 95, 96, and 97
Samurai Showdown III and IV
X-Men Vs. Street Fighter

And the list goes on. Some others...
Radiant Silvergun (not terribly rare, but ridiculously expensive)
Virtua Cop 1 and 2
Panzer Dragoon 1 and 2 (great games...I mean...the have the Veggita2099 seal of approval. That's saying a lot  )
NiGHTS really goes without saying...even though it's already been said...
Sega Rally
Daytona USA (ugly as hell...but it plays true to the arcade
Virtual On (again...ugly as hell but plays true to the arcade...esspecially if you can find the special controller)
House of the Dead (bloods green...but it's still zombie blastin' fun)

Depends on what Saturn models they are selling, if they are all Model 2 (round power and reset buttons) then they are ok to mod although the 64IC pin chips models are harder to mod because not all modboards work.
THAN/THEN get it right peoples!
