Hey guys!! I'm relatively new to xbox, though not to soldering and wanted recommendations on which chip to buy. I wanna put a bigger hdd in my xbox as well as run emulators, among other things. And, for the most part, all the chips has the same basic functions, right?

I'd also like to know where to buy any chips that are recommended.

kthnx

Softmods let you do everything a modchip can and don't require any soldering. Use an autoinstaller and it's easy as pie.

Agreed. Dunno how it is upgrading HDDs as I've only softmodded other peoples xboxes and upgraded the HDD to mine which was chipped anyway.
