How's the N-Gage QD?

Looking to upgrade my phone plan and I can milk a great N-Gage QD deal out of it. How are these things for emulation purposes? Main interest is NES, SNES, Genesis, Scumm, and GBC

What apps are there?

Do these things use SD or mini SD cards?

Anyone with a QD, do the QD phones suck or rock?

It uses MMC cards, I aint got any so havent looked into the apps for it much yet but theres at least 1 mp3 player out there to restore what Nokia took away from us. As for emulation I remember a Genesis one I think, theres a version of Mame but thats all I can remember right now, having to recall from old news before I got one, dcemu.co.uk has a section for them though which should herald answers if people here dont know, I'm kinda interested myself for when I get a MMC card for it. As for the phone side of it I've only used it for texts to enter competitions so far so I dunno, gotta be better than sidetalking though.

Where did you find one?!

We've been looking in LA for a few months now and can't find a single QD anywhere.

All the EBs (GameStops?), Best Buy, etc. etc. don't carry them anymore!

... or, since you mentioned getting a deal on one, do you want to sell the QD and use the $ to get a different phone?

defo a nice little portable. I got one this past weekend, and its a shame it wasn't more successful.

Letstalk.com is unloading them with games for like $100 phone only. Should you happen to renew your phone service with them you get the phone free.

I just want the phone itself, without the service.

For just the phone, they want $150 -- which is a lot for the QD.

That's the same price that Nokia is charging on their own site.

Just a tip, those indirect dealers are absolute scammers. Watch out because they're rebates are trash, they will activate a wireless account for you regardless of your request not to and they're amazingly hard to correspond with.

I'd probably just look at ebay.com to see if they have any.
