Not so much a game, but I picked up a 4GB MS for my PSP. $50 this week at Gamestop with a coupon.

Prince of Persia Classic (Xbox Live)
I know I said I would never buy another game from Live, but this one was impossible to turn down. Incredibility short, but extremely fun.

Yeah but this is a complete remake with better controls and graphics. Infact it's probably the best looking XBLA title at the moment.MapleBuster wrote:Wasn't that game an unlockable in Sands Of Time ?Prince of Persia Classic

Re: Post everytime that you buy a new game...
It's great! Of course...the only GTA clone I've ever enjoyed was The Godfather, so my opinion may not carry as much weight as people who like GTA style games. I love the aiming controls. They're much easier to work with than the manual aiming controls Godfather used. The driving aspects are also a hell of a lot more fun than Godfather, since there are more kinds of cars and the cars seem control better. The "blackhand" portion of the game isn't as fun as Godfather, but the gunplay more than makes up for it IMO. I imagine people who like GTA will really enjoy it...and some people who loath GTA...like myself...will really enjoy it too. The soundtrack kicks ass and the chainsaw is good wholesome entertainment. I didn't play any of the other versions of Scarface, so I can't say how the Wii version stacks up to the other ones...but I really can't see this game being as much fun without the Wii controls.royhubbs wrote:Vlad Tepes wrote:Scarface - Wii

Oh it does. It keeps the original flair but with beautiful graphics and a tweaked control system that is much more responsive and accurate.MapleBuster wrote:I see what you mean. Tastefully remade. Good buy. I'd love Crystal Dynamics to give it the new-engine makeover treatment.melancholy wrote:Tomb Raider 2 (PSX) - $5

Re: Post everytime that you buy a new game...
Tomb Raider 2 was easily my favorite in the series. It was actually the very first PC game I ever owned. I remember thinking how awkward the Playstation controller was for TR games after beating TR2 by using the keyboard the whole way through. Anyway, I ended up buying the PSX version Saturday because after attempting to revisit the game, I found the PC version on newer computers is buggy. The cutscenes especially are messed up due to a horrible audio syncing problem. And the movies have this weird pixelated freezing on the right side of the screen. The PSX version would avoid all of that. Plus I'm no longer good at playing TR games with a keyboard...BoneyCork wrote:Good buy. At any rate, a TR2 remake would be amazing. A high-res travel into the Maria Doria would definitely make me happy.
