Bought a Gamecube.
Lines join in faint discord and the Stormwatch brews

Doesn't technically count as a new game, but I bought a SAPPHIRE Toxic 100282-2GTXSR.

Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time.

The R&C games are all starting to blend together in my head. The gameplay is practically the same each time, and the weapons weren't as interesting this time around, but I do enjoy them. I think the writing is a big part of what keeps me coming back.

I actually bought this one a few weeks back, and just finished it recently. I had to wait until July, because my girlfriend was out of town. She's been taking over the PS3 to play Dragon Age, so I hadn't had a chance to pop it in before that.

Looking for a new game now. I'm thinking Sin & Punishment, 3D Dot Game Heroes, Uncharted 2, or Heavy Rain. Suggestions?

Uncharted 2 and Heavy Rain are both well worth it.

3D Dot Game Heroes has its charm, but I would've been much happier with it if the game was half the price and on PSN. The 8-bit parody throwback stuff is great for a while, but it runs dry later on.

Never played Sin and Punishment.

Resident Evil 1-3, Code: Veronica.

I doubt these will be as good as I thought they were when they came out, but oh well.

Phantasy Star Online - Dreamcast, NTSC/J

Wanted to play around with a version of PSO that had the SSL hunter's license check in it but also had a decrypted/non-compressed binary. Since the Japanese v1 is the only one that I know fits that bill (US v2 is encrypted/compressed in some unknown to me fashion and I presume Japanese v2 is as well), I got it. Now, I need to play around with it, I guess.

The things I do for the projects I work on...

Uncharted 2. I've only played a couple of hours at this point, but so farI think I liked the premise of the first one a little better. However, this one has already provided a much wider variety of environments, even at this early stage.

I was wandering around the Goodwill today and picked up a copy of Virtua Racing for the Sega Genesis in mint condition for $2.09. It came with the box, manual, promotional ads for Sega products, and a card that you can send off to receive 6 whole months of Sega Visions for free!

I also bought Sonic Jam US for 11 pounds.

Is the entire game the Shenmue-moments of "Press [button]!"?

God, that's awful. How is that a game? It could've been released on DVD players...

I think it worked well in Shenmue since it wasn't all that often, but an entire game of that just sounds like a chore.

Valkyria Chronicles II (PSP)

Pros: Awesome gameplay, beautiful visuals, and a portable version of my favourite PS3 game is fantastic.

Cons: My favourite ever cast of videogame characters completely replaced with a dull set of irritating Japanese High School anime stereotypes.
