Heres what's new
* Modification point
- Two of those which use version and the former driver which use the ng-lo.rom was prepared. Because the ng-lo.rom is the same as the MVS edition which is used with the MAME and the like, diverting there, you are not concerned. You are not concerned file size with 64k/128k whichever, (actual size being to be the 128k). Basically, the person who uses the ng-lo.rom is present only speed of former 90% or less. With the game which uses the luster driver furthermore difference spreading, you think it becomes 70% or less.
- Indication of the FPS, using the system font of the NEOGEO CD, way it indicates, modification. Accurate speed is indicated with this (the ^-^;

Emulator WinUAE 0.8.17 R3

The official version, unlike the earlier release.
KNOWN BUGS:
- Snapshot (save-state) support is not 100% yet.
- Picasso96 colour-fades are especially slow.
- Only Lemmings 3 AGA's playing screen is centered correctly, "Lemming-mode" selection buttons on bottom of screen are still corrupted. (AGA bitplanes do not steal copper's DMA cycles correctly yet)
- Also Banshee AGA's scoreboard is still invisible because sprites outside playfields (AGA only feature, not yet implemented) are always hidden.

Emulator Hoxs64 0.8D beta

1) Set disk drive speed from PAL Speed up to 1Mhz. Introduced a 1 clock cycle delay for the disk drive to see changes to the serial bus. This has the effect of allowing a wider variety of disk turbo loaders to now work.

Emulator Utility Kazzuya's GPU V1.7

Kazzuya has released an update of raphics plugin for ePSXe / PSEmu, and other emulators with the following changes:
F5 now leads to a full featured run-time menu where one can change things on-the-fly without having to mess with F-keys (no F-word intended !).

Added a new stretch filter mode: directional stretch. Kind of slow. Will further optimize if gets enough positive feedback.

Added option in the config to open native 320x240 display for those that need that extra bit of performance, as suggested by Linuzappz.

Fixed crash bug that was allowing games to use System 11- style VRAM without really allocating it 8P

Fixed crash when taking snapshots of 24 bit display (movies).

Emulator MEKA 0.61

SG-1000, SC-3000, Mark III , SMS, GG, Colecovision and Othello Multivision
What's new :
- Moved 104 messages to MEKA.MSG, allowing for full localization of the menus. 99% of MEKA is now localizable. Updated the following languages: English, German, Redneck, Dutch, Portuguese and Spanish.
- Improved Z80 core (timing and interrupt emulation bug).
- Fixed Rise of the Robots (GG), MEKA being the first emulator to play it without glitches (and even without, it sucks! :)
- Fixed most or all (?) glitches in Formula 1 (SMS) two-players mode (maybe not the right way yet).
- Fixed Double Dragon (GG) which was not working since an update of the Z80 core (from fMSX) several version ago.
- Country changes now immediately takes effects (no need to reset).
- Tweaking interrupt emulation for SG-1000/SC-3000/SF-7000 and Coleco Vision drivers. Those changes should not affect anything.
- Fixed 'Parallel' video blitter, odd frames were not updated when using the blitter with software 3-D Glasses mode enabled.
- Fixed crash of SF-7000 driver when loading a corrupted floppy disk.
- Fixed YM-2413 logging in VGM files (Register & Value were reversed!)
- Updated SDSC Header support for version 1.01 (adding Author field).
- Added Golden Axe theme by Death Adder. (uncomment to use in GUI)
- Updated to Allegro WIP 3.9.39 and reapplied all custom patchs. Changed SideWinder autodetection process a bit. Hope it works!
- Reduced executable.

Hey Hawq, are you able to use Nebula? Because it by FAR the best out of all the CPS 2 emulators. It's too bad most people don't have a computer that can run it well.

Mine runs flawlessly!!! YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSS!
No frame skipping (ZERO FRAMES SKIPPED!) FULL SOUND, FULL SPEED, FULL GRAPHIC DISPLAY, FULL SCREEN, BUILT-IN JUKEBOX, BUILT-IN HEX EDITOR, BUILT-IN GRAPHICS RIP, ONLINE SUPPORT.
OMG the joy :D :D :D

Geez, I sound as if I were describing a DC emu ;)

Of course I can use Nebula, I'd be suprised at anyone who couldn't, it runs fine on my P2 350 & I've had it going on a Cyrix M2 300 quite well also. Anyway on to todays news.

Emulator Kawaks 1.35

The first emu to fully run KOF2000 (expect another Nebula soon to support it) is it just me or have this & Nebula been getting released at early FinalBurn speeds?.
* New games supported :

The "(decrypted C)" games load faster, require less RAM than their counter part,
and are gameplay wise identical.
See the following feature for how to obtain theyr decrypted roms :
* Added feature to save decrypted Cs from encrypted games.
Enable "Enable save decrypted Cs after loading" in the Tools menu before loading
an encrypted NeoGeo game.
* Support for the new WinJammer S1 rom
* Rewrote audit. It's now a lot more accurate
It can now detect roms with a bad name, a bad crc, or that are missing; and reports
correct rom sizes
* Rewrote Romcenter dat generator. Should be 100% perfect now :)
* New ClrMAMEPro dat generator.
* Changed it so the Load dialog box filters don't act on Audit or DAT generation anymore
* Changed 'Use HotRod configuration' map things more cleverly for NeoGeo games
* Tidied the menus a bit :)

OpenGL plugin, heres whats new:
Fixed a possible rectangle transparency problem

Improved the speed of MDECs by using a technique that I used recently in Next3D (A more advanced version of this will appear in later versions of my plugins.)

Fixed mixing alpha testing and blending together. Should work now for the new blending modes

*Notes :
This current build will NOT run on non-MMX computers.
This current build only outputs 16-bit 44 Khz sound.
Future versions will include an option to select MMX-code or non-MMX code, and sound output options.
This beta release has been tested on Win 98/2000/XP.
You should set your desktop resolution to 1024x768 to run BadBoy correctly.
BadBoy seems to be more efficient in 16-bit on most video hardware.

Genesis/Sega CD emu, heres whats new:

Added the possibility to choose a perfect synchronisation emulation mode.
This means that main CPU and sub CPU execute instruction by instruction then emulation is more accurate but a lot slower.
This option is desactivated by default, you can enable it when you're playing a Sega CD game but it's highly recommend to use it only if the game doesn't work in normal emulation mode and if your CPU is fast (>= 500 Mhz).

Fixed a (stupid) bug in the GFX rotation/scaling engine.

Fixed Word RAM decoded format (dot GFX conversion).

Added CELL GFX conversion.

CDC -> PCM RAM DMA fixed.

Emulator CaPriCe32 3.01

Amstrad CPC emu, heres whats new:
- Having an archived DSK image open in Caprice32 and then moving it outside of the emulator caused a crash in MSVCRT.DLL on startup. Fixed.
- Caprice32 now checks ROM files for validity and strips any 128 bytes headers it may find.

Emulator Visual Boy Advance V0.6.0.1 SDL

The SDL version of this Game Boy Advance emulator has been released. The main advantage to the SDL version is that it is now portable to other systems, and with that, there is now not only a Windows port, but a Linux port as well.

Sengoku 3 is NOT SUPPORTED. This game is only 4-5 months old and it’s still in the
arcades.

Changed the gfx decryption method, it should be faster and will require less memory as
now it’s performed before loading any other roms (program or sound).

If there is not enough memory to perform the decryption, games will run with encrypted
graphics. This behaviour was also in the previous release, but I forgot to write it here.
CPS2:

Fixed 4 point interpolation equation that was causing some sound artifacts in high pitched
sounds.

Added the new QSound code to the Directsound 3D renderer (I forgot to add it in the
previous version).

Slightly faster Z80+QSound emulation by removing some unneeded FP operations.

Fixed Directsound 2d Narrow mode always being Mono, now it’s Stereo.


CPS1:

Fixed Nemo (Japan) always appearing in the gamelist.

Emulator Hoxs64 0.9 Beta

System PC - Windows

Commodore 64 emulator for Windows with DirectX7 or higher.
What's new :
More of those fancy demos should now display.
FLI and IFLI should work. (It was sort of working before, if you wrote a program that worked with the old Hoxs64 incompatible timing.)
1) Timing of interrupts with respect to the VIC --> CPU BA line has been fixed (I hope). This information is not easy to find.
2) Introduced a 12 clock cycle delay between the "g-access" data etch of the VIC and the rendering of the pixels. Pixels are rendered with the colour register values that are available at the clock that they are rendered, as opposed to the clock that the pixels are fetched.
3) Fix to allow the border to be turned off by a switch from a 24 line to a 25 line display while the raster line is any where on the "top comparison line". This information seems to be missing from Christian Bauer's VIC Article.
4) Reworked CPU and VIC timing to allow the CPU to influence some additional operations of the VIC at the same clock cycle as the write to the VIC registers.
5) Fixed the VIC to fetch the lower 4 bits of the current CPU opcode when accessing the colour RAM while the address lines are in use by the CPU.
6) Introduced a 2 clock cycle delay (was 1 clock delay) between the CPU write to $D011 and the time that VIC goes from idle to display state given the various logic rules.

Emulator Modeler V0.9.3

Sega System 32 emu, heres whats new:
Fixed long-time bug that was causing crackling and hiss in all System 32 games.

V60 core fix for the Super Visual Football attract mode (it no longer hangs
on a black screen!)

V60 core substantially sped up. This helps the framerate a lot on some of the
more intense games like Outrunners, Radmobile, and F1 Exhaust Note..

Fixed Z80 protection for Burning Rival so sound plays again.

Updated YM3834 emulation to latest version with substantial accuracy fixes
by Jarek Burczynski.

RF5C68 indirect banking mode added, makes the engine sounds work in F1 Exhaust
Note and F1 Super Lap. Also fixes some music glitches in various games.

Engine and tire screeching sounds fixed in OutRunners.

Z80 core upgraded to RAZE 1.0.6.

Some savestate bugs fixed. States saved in previous versions of Modeler are no
longer compatible and will not load properly.

Sound fixed to work again in Virtua Racing.

Controls mapped better for the Model 1 games. It's now possible to enter test
mode in Virtua Fighter, and the usual steering controls apply in Virtua Racing.

Voice samples fixed in Virtua Racing

Preliminary sound added to Virtua Fighter. Now you can hear the invisible
people beating each other up during the attract mode.

Log to .WAV file added. The log will go into a folder called "wave"
in a file with the same name as the ROM zip, except with .wav instead of .zip. Eg for OutRunners the log is orunners.zip.

Emulator fastMAME v0.56

This is a MAME build for Windows not using MingW but the Intel C++ Compiler which results in a 10-20% speed increase which I think is quite nice =).
No other changes were made to the source.

If your computer can't run some games you want to play at full speed (for example Stun Runner, CPS2 stuff, NeoGeo games or Mortal Kombat) you really should give it a try.
