Bull Shit.
This is not half as good as any Rage game made by SEGA.
That Said I have really enjoyed it, and it is no longer available for download cause SEGA no longer want fans to do what they can't.
TAKE THAT!

What's with the anger?
It's a fan made game, no need to call it bullshit if you don't like it. And what's with the TAKE THAT? Sega has done fuck all but ruin their good franchises, I'm surprised there isn't a 3D Streets of Rage out on 360/PS3 with fucking Sonic characters in it.
I have yet to play this, but good on the people that made it. Trying to do what Sega won't, make a SoR remake.

This was obviously going to happen. While fan remakes are cool, why didn't the developers behind this acknowledge their skill and product by becoming serious and producing a new IP? That great 1-level Sonic fan remake is the same. If that's not possible at least call it City of Fury or something and make it a tribute.

@ SkyNet: Clearly an extreme over reaction on my part.
The game is very good, just not as good as the SEGA games.
Also the developer contacted SEGA well in advance, I am assuming the temporary pause on download is a good thing.
Maybe SEGA's offered them a deal to polish up the game, get paid and release the game commercially although it will require a hell of a lot of work in it's present state it is an artistic unbalanced mess.

This is exactly what I think of all fan remakes.BoneyCork wrote:This was obviously going to happen. Exactly right, I wouldn't have thought many big development companies derive much pleasure shutting down projects like this but they have to make some effort to protect their IPs. A bit of common sense would help here, probably changing the name is all that would be needed to fly under the radar, even if it uses ripped sprites from an old game.mankrip wrote:This is exactly what I think of all fan remakes.BoneyCork wrote:This was obviously going to happen.
