Doesn't this kind of defeat the point of going to the trouble of a hardware collection in the first place? I can sort of see its utility for homebrew, but I'm not aware of any great selection of homebrew Genesis games.

USB connector for your SNES and Genesis cartridges, for ripping and for emulators. I'd actually be kind of curious to see an HTPC/emulator box built with one of these integrated.

Great idea, but no way I'll ever spend $80 on it. Although running the ROMs on original hardware would be awesome, I've got an Xbox and Wii for all my classic gaming.

I got mine six months ago for 59$ as part of a group buy via assembler. It's the 2.0 version. Prior to this there were a few other choices (for instance tototek's carts), but none as well made, nor any using SD.
