is the port of Quake 2, for DC, full speed? just wondering, before i burn it.

Isn't worth burning it, it's more of a tech demo then being able to play it.

It is "full speed" but has no sound at all and some levels will not even load.

Yes, my understanding is that it's more of what would be called a "proof-of-concept" release than something intended for general gaming use. There is still a LOT of work to be done (it's not very resource-efficient, which leads to memory problems), and I'm not sure whether or not that will ever end up happening.

I burned it and if you really wana play it sure just burn the music to a cd and listen to it :-P .Anyways it is pretty good I played it today.

Is Bero dead? That's what I wanna know, seems like the two best things the DC had going for it are missing in action.

I hope he's not dead. I'd love to see him working on his Quake ports and the Media player.
