KGL-X issues
Basically i get a black window on lxdream and on the dreamcast. Although the examples work when used with KGL-X, my code (witch works on the PC) does not. Any pointers? (Am I missing some initialization?). #include <kos.h> #include <stdio.h> #include <string.h> #include <math.h> #include <GL/gl.h> #...

Worry not.
As long as I can still get the toolchain as it is, I'm happy with it

Re: 09-09-09: Regenerator
I'm planning on making a demo (although I forgot the DC's B-DAY) . I'm currently starting to build a small data driven framework in order to create something. I'm currently writing the .obj loader (I'm currently having some malloc issues on the PC ). If you are good at C i sure could use a hand. Sen...

KGL-X where to find it ?
Hi there.
I've been looking for the KGL-X libary ( due to the fact that it supports display lists) but the site that hosted it is down, And i've been unable to find it anywhere.
Does anyone know were i could get it ?
Best Regards!

3D file formats
Well, as I'm learning Open GL, I will eventually want to load 3d meshes from the CD / SD.
Is there any 3d format that you recomment, or i should make my own 3d file format instead ?
Any thoughts ?

Re: Building a USB coders cable
Well, i've finished my coders cable. The Pcb containing the 74HC244 is a bit....big (I'm probably going to etch a pcb to make it smaller.....) but the setup works as intended. Re: New guy, and looking for someone to develope with
I'd recommend that if you're serious about Dreamcast development, you don't use SDL for what you're doing on the Dreamcast. SDL will slow things down considerably, and there are many known bugs all of the various SDL ports to the Dreamcast. Also, note that if you want to use OpenGL, there are sever...

Re: New guy, and looking for someone to develope with
Hi. I know C (and a little tiny bit of 2D SDL) and i'm currently learning C++ and OpenGL . (Got both Beguining OpenGL and Beguining C++ trough game programming) My roadmap is to make a demo or two for the dreamcast, and later on a rail shooter (basically a Sin And Punisher Clone). Right now I'm bui...

Re: Dreamcast SD adapter by EmuForge
I find it interesting, although i've only heard about it too late (I'm already working on adding the USB<->DC serial interface + sd card reader inside the dreamcast it self. When i've heard of the sd card adapter from emuforge I've already had ordered the parts)
