Is it perhaps using a cruddy undersized heatsink? The Barton core (which I believe your 2700+ is) is toasty chip if not used with a compatible 'sink.

I just got a new computer so I'm not really desperate. I can definitely spare $350-$400 for a decent laptop. Bear in mind that for his original asking price you could get a comparable new Dell: Intel? Celeron? M Processor 380 (1.60 GHz/400MHz FSB/1M L2 Cache) Genuine Windows? XP Home Edition edit 1...

Re: NDA Homebrew w/ Supercard SD and Passme2

Ok, having issues. If I pop the Supercard in should it boot into GBA mode and display the contents of the SD card? Supercard Only: Boots into GBA mode. Can run GBA games and GBA homebrew from the SD card. Supercard & Passme: Boots into DS mode. Can run all games and homebrew from the SD card. S...

Yes: Buy/build a decent screen. The difference in brightness, contrast ratio and overall image quality is well worth the $80 - $100 it's gonna cost you.

melancholy wrote:What exactly is this device anyway?
It's a device which lets a DS load unsigned code from the GBA slot. It sits in the DS game slot but is around twice the size of a normal DS card.

Their main use nowadays is to load flashme onto a DS.

slight edit for clarification

Don't forget Meteos if you're into puzzle games.

Bomberman comes to mind here.

My contract's up for renewal and there isn't a single phone I'd rather have than my W800: The K800 looks neat but is huge, the W810 is cool but lacks camera shutter. I'll probably sell on whichever replacement I'm given

Dark Messiah Demo released

Anyone else tried the Dark Messiah demo yet? It's a first-person RPG set in the Might & Magic universe, built on the Source engine, that feels a bit like Oblivion except more fun. :P

With my 1.6 softmod I can only IGR if the game is launched from the dashboard. It won't work if a disc is in the xbox as it starts up.

MKE's right, sounds like IGR is disabled in your particular BIOS.

I don't know about the other people, but 7+Mbit doesn't really differ that much from 4Mbit considering most sites have trouble maintaining that much :\... It's all about the newsgroups. On a more legal note, most torrents and many sites are able to saturate my 4 megabit so 10+ isn't such a waste TBH.
