Nope, you have to use a controller.

Re: Change keyboard layout?
Is the DC BIOS also set to English? If that doesn't fix it, you might have to use a US keyboard.

Re: PSO V2 can’t connect
Which browsers did you use, and which settings did you configure? If you got JPv2 to work by itself, others would like to know.

Re: PSO V2 can’t connect
The Japanese PSO disc seems to require special ISP settings that most browsers can't configure. Nobody seems to know how to make JPv2 happy. I've been able to use JPv2 online once my DC is already set up to take USv2 online, but people who try to set up JPv2 as their first disc can't get it to work ...

Re: New Player UK
Welcome! You'll have much better luck arranging games on Discord, as this forum is mostly for tech support and pretty dead as far as chat goes. People make new characters fairly often, so it's not too hard to find other low level people. We've had several new players arrive recently, too. http://dis...

Re: Transfer between memory cards
My understanding is that Devolution should only use the virtual memory card on the SD card if no physical memory card is connected. I don't know why it would ignore the physical memory card, unless maybe your card or the port is dirty? Can you load your character from slot A with Nintendont, or &quo...

Re: Transfer between memory cards
Uh, you don't need to? If you're using Wii, you can use your physical memory cards in both offline and online modes.
You can use GCMM to move data between memory cards, but it isn't required.

Re: [GC] Patch Batch
The Movement Patch is out now. This patch improves weapon animations by allowing you to step backwards and improves combat by allowing you to walk when you're close to enemies, instead of having the joystick get disabled. Re: Rare Mags?
Once you get a fourth evolution, the Mag can't evolve again. Holiday Rappies are controlled by the client. All the server has to do is say "it's Easter/Halloween/Christmas" when you make a team, and the game takes care of the rest by replacing Love Rappy with Egg/Hallo/Saint Rappy.

Re: [GC] Patch Batch
The Shop Patch is now available. This patch ensures that you can always buy Monomate, Dimate, Trimate, Monofluid, Difluid, Trifluid, Sol Atomizer, Moon Atomizer, and Star Atomizer if you're above level 100. The tradeoff is that Antidote, Antiparalysis, Telepipe, and Trap Vision have to become random...

Re: PSO Questions & Answers
If you use static IP normally on the PC, then you need to reconfigure your usual settings on the bridge, because Windows won't copy them over by itself.

Re: PSO Questions & Answers
OK, so you'd want to set Dolphin to 192.168.86.19, for instance. Have you tried connecting twice without quitting Dolphin? Some people never connect on the first try.

Re: PSO Questions & Answers
What is "my IP"? The PC? Dolphin needs an IP in the same subnet, so it would be 192.168.86.x, where x is an unused IP outside of your DHCP range.

Re: New user -- looking to be very active online
Ephinea is a server for Blue Burst (PC) only. Altimira is my ship (a part of Sylverant) that has my custom quests and mods on it. We're not affiliated with SCHTServ, but we're on good terms with them and share information. Most of the TA players are on there, because it has a lot of timed homebrew q...

Re: New user -- looking to be very active online
Welcome to Sylverant! 1) Generally we want to encourage people to play online, so we don't offer the online quests for download. Some of them (especially quests with bosses) will break your save file a bit if you play them offline, so downloading unpatched versions can be problematic. 2) Saint Rappy...

Re: PSOv2 and PSOGC Runtime Patching
Yeah, patching is technically broken in US 1.0, US 1.01, and JP 1.02 discs, because Sega coded the patch packet handler function incorrectly. We use a hack from PSOLoad/PSUL to work around the bug and make patching functional, but sometimes the game will crash. You'll lose Meseta when that happens, ...

Re: PSO Questions & Answers
Some people are able to bridge the TAP with their Wi-Fi and go online, but using Windows 10 is a big problem for Dolphin. You can cheat by getting an extra Wi-Fi router, configuring it as a client for your Wi-Fi network, and then connecting your PC to it via Ethernet. You'll technically be using Eth...

Re: PSO Questions & Answers
You can use the keyboard as the controller for player 2 in multi mode, but you should disable the GameCube keyboard that's normally connected (virtually) to one of the controller ports for typing in game, then put the keyboard back after you're done with multi mode. The common bank patch makes item ...

I'm pleased to announce another set of updates and new features for Garon's Shop. To begin, you can now carry up to 1000 Garon points, instead of 100. The higher cap goes with the first new feature, in that you can now buy certain items directly from Garon for either Meseta or points. Note that if y...

Re: PSO Questions & Answers
V2 players have orange names, while GC player names are white. You can find GC players on Iselia and Altimira, but our population is pretty small, since GC players are split across multiple servers. (The DC population is bigger, because all DC players use Sylverant.) What time zone are you in? Most ...
