I'm pretty sure that the GD-ROM is 3.3v not 12v (at least my US model one is 3.3v). I think that the expansion port devices (modem, etc.) are all that use the 12v (but it is outputted from the AV plug socket thingy too). I used a power inverter with my DC while I was on vacation this summer, and fou...

No KOS doesn't make your system act like WinCE, they are completely different. (I.E. WinCE uses directx and such things whereas, KOS has no directx.) But, it is possible to port Win95 programs to KOS, it's probably a bit harder than Win95 -> WinCE. And also, DreamSNES originally came from a PC SNES ...

The DC actually can output the S-Video signals too. So therefore the picture should be a better quality.

The DC takes in 120VAC (normal household voltage) and then changes that over to 12vDC, 5vDC, and 3.3vDC on the power supply board. And not only the LED uses 3.3v, the GD-ROM does also. The fan uses the 5v, and I'm not sure how much voltage the components (CPU, etc) on the mainboard use. But I'm pret...

I'd also suggest redownloading the zip because it probably got corrupted while downloading. (maybe get it from a different site?) And you can't use the 1st_read.bin from another game because then you would have that other game! (1st_read.bin is usually the main game code) I wish you luck in getting ...

It's easy to install, but setting up software may be difficult (I don't know because I don't have a BBA, nor do I have $49 to get one) that is unless the software was made to work with one, then it would be easy!

I think that the GD-ROM runs off of +3.3v, not +12v (at least it says on my GD-ROM drive 3.3v). I think that the only things that used +12v were the expansion port, and the AV Port.

It might work, but you'd have to do a lot of setup inside of Dev-C++ to get it to use a cross-compiler (i think, but I never tried).
