Dunno, I've had PSU's die on computers before, and replaced them and they've been fine....jus get a cheapy psu as suggested and see if it works still or not.

I was tempted to get it...but theres no significant need for it so I'll stick with XP for now. Microsoft are gonna keep XP updates for XP coming out to at least 2012, so I aint fussed

Yep, even the PC version doesnt have a serial, which makes it extremely easy to download, but you dont want to do that do you.
