1 block = 512 bytes = 0.512 kilobytes = 0.5 kibibyte
2 blocks = 1024 bytes = 1.024 kilobytes = 1 kibibyte

also a regular VM has actually 256 blocks, which normally include 200 user blocks. so 128 kibibytes correspond to 256 blocks.

hehe :) yes i agree friendly rivalry might be benefical. but i fear it goes out of control at some point. for example nxQuake's supporters flamming RADquake's supporters/devvers and vise versa. plus as some members of each team are currently in conflict (im not talking about me) it could turn in ano...

i think thedumbass was comparing released versions. of course your current version of nxQuake probably has been and will be greatly improved from the latest release, as well as RADquake's current version is improved from the latest release. anyway, no need to compare them all of the time and create ...

i don't think ian said he will give up the project, or if he did i'm not sure he didn't/won't change his mind. what is sure is you have better chance to get updates/infos about his project on IMR tech's official forum than here. oh and link/demonius you're not in position to talk, you did the same w...

It's history now.... because of a little misunderstanding.... not sure which project you mention here, if you mean RADquake then its not history, though i never planed to use hardware acceleration. and the reason why its update won't be posted here has nothing to do with a "little missunderstanding...

Maybe he could change the menu so you don't have to rename roms that excede 32 characters anyone is free to modify the source and recompile it with less restricting limits, just replace the values in those lines in dreamcast-x/menu.c: #define LIST_MAX_PATH 1024 #define LIST_MAX_FILE 32 then im not ...

thats not what i meant. continue your mod like the recent events didnt happen, you shouldnt modify it so it doesnt use saving cause its not impossible that a new version has VM saving implemented anyway.
