I haven't checked, but if DCFactory is using the file extension to determine if something is a supported file format it is doing the wrong thing (eg, it's buggy) and should be fixed.

I kind of like that.goto next ROM button idea. There are only so many numbers to go through before 1.0, and four releases seems rather limiting, despite the "No more betas" policy. Version numbers are normally constructed like so: major.minor.build Having build go past 9 is no problem. 0.9...

Don't disable the hearts. It's a major no-no if you want it to work.

I believe the highest amount of frameskipping you'll get in DreamSNES is "4". (I *think* this means the game will display 1/5 frames). They could change that number, but it would make games that need frameskipping run slower. Have you cosidered the "auto" in "auto frameskip...

To check what version you are running, look at the display of your VMU. If you have ane of those knock-off (V)MUs without display then borrow one from a friend.

What do you mean "DreamSNES ignores them"? DreamSNES doesn't care what names they have.

The webpage says "Yoshi's Island (and other SuperFX games) no longer crashes DreamSNES", which seems to be true. Compare with 0.9.4 where starting Yoshi's island would lock up the emulator. :-) I've managed to crash it with Doom though.

The exact quote is "This reduces practically any save to two blocks". There is a significant differance between "practically any" and "all".
