The XB version isn't THAT pretty. The classic "low resolution textures getting stuck in the foreground" problem from GTA 3 is still present. The game was fun, the controls were alright. The only thing I didn't like was having to use black and white to look left and right, and to rotate rud...

Hmph, I have a pretty good wifi setup, but my router barely reaches the street, and my laptop's battery is fried. It'll only run long enough for me to trot to the edge of the reception area and back to an AC outlet. =_=

Odd, because the Dual Shock 2 is the single finest controller I've ever laid hands on.

Yeah, you just change one line in the code, and you're good to go. Or just download a save file for the EU Shenmue already beaten... just make sure it has all the moves.

I leave mine hooked up to my primary PC's monitor, because my VGA box has a passthrough port. Male to male VGA cable from video card to VGA box, connect monitor to VGA box, and switch between DC and PC at will.

My great grandmother died because her dumb ass was cooking on a woodburning stove while drunk. She fell onto it and seriously burned her side. Infection, immune system weakened, dead. I laugh every time I think about it, because that was COMPLETELY avoidable. So remember, kids, don't be the butt of ...

Yeah, why can't they be like the USPS, and lose or steal packages constantly, and when you complete the required tracking process to file a claim on the package insurance you bough, you are told to leave immediately.

Ah, thanks muchly. The only way it could have been less obvious (delete all != reformat in most cases) is to have been an option in the CD player.

Unless there's some magical button combination required, you can't just format an otherwise functional VMU.

How do you change the icons and colors, btw? Documentation on VMUs is rare, and the gamefaqs FAQs are devoid of more than basic instruction.

The DC mouse is almost the worst mouse ever made. It slips too much. You're much better off getting a PS/2 to DC adapter and using your own mice. Even optical mice work.

Remember that Ninendo Power originated as little more than a company newsletter. It was no less fun t...

Well, in order of worst to best, it's supposed to be R/F, composite, s-video, and RGB/component... But I have a DVD player with all four output types. R/F looks comparatively like ass, of course, but there wasn't a real difference to me between composite, s-video, or component. The TV I used was bra...
