Evil Australians : New game for the Ludum Retro
Here's my first original release in about 4 years : Evil Australians ! https://gameblabla.nl/img/evil_aussie_title.png Evil Australians is a small game i made for the 3DO, Dreamcast and PCs. It's a platforming arena game made from scratch with the help of my own library, Gameblabla's Wrapper. The ga...

Re: Crafti (Minecraft clone) for the Dreamcast !
Crafti is catching fire it seems... I guess people really wanted to have minecraft (a clone of it) on the Dremcast ! Hopefully it should ease of pain of In the Line of Fire being canceled. I won't work more on this though... maybe at a later point once i have ported my own games (KillMinds & Rub...

Re: Crafti (Minecraft clone) for the Dreamcast !
1. Yeah you'd have to switch to float. If you want to support both platforms and that other platform doesn't have floats you'll have to introduce some global typedef depending on the platform you're on. It's going to be a little more tricky than a couple of idefs, i'm afraid... I will talk with Vog...

Re: Crafti (Minecraft clone) for the Dreamcast !
1. This is going to be very tricky : it uses fixed point (on an int) rather than floats for math... So far my attempts to switch to fast_cos and fast_sin has failed. 2. Hmm... Using DMA might do it. Any examples or open source games that uses it ? 3 and 4. I know but i admit i'm not really familiar ...

Crafti (Minecraft clone) for the Dreamcast !
I looked around at porting Vogtinator's nCrafti to the Sega Dreamcast and here it is ! It's a Minecraft clone programmed by Vogtinator for the Ti Nspire CX : a very limited calculator with a weak ARM cpu. (clocked at 132 Mhz !) It is entirely software renderered : No OpenGL, only a framebuffer. The ...

Re: The Last Mission (Dreamcast port)
Yep, it is as I thought. I played all the demo on Win and it lasts 5 minutes (the ship also dies, I mean, its not a perfect gameplay and probably a bit long xD). So, here are my 4 proposals. Pick the one that suits better for you ;) - Modify the demo to adjust to Dreamcast video timings. - Records ...

Re: The Last Mission (Dreamcast port)
Unfortunately, in DC version the timings are wrong (at least, on emu), and soon you will see that movements are not correct. The ship will die very soon, making all the remaining demo nonsense (compare with Win version, there is perfect-timing so the ship does not die and continues into its perfect...

Re: The Last Mission (Dreamcast port)
Nice!! I tested again on emu and WAV sound much better now. And overheat now works as expected! :) I still have to test on real hard, but the port seems done! Btw, does it uses VMU in any part? Does it has saves? I can't even pass first level hehehe :) Great to hear it runs better ! And no, i looke...

Re: The Last Mission (Dreamcast port)
Update: Tested on emu, music OGG is fine, WAV is a completely broken as happened with Tail-Tale (zouzz could you record some footage)? Also, another issue: in windows version you can hold the fire button so the machine keeps shooting but overheat is increasing. This does not happen on DC, where onl...

The Last Mission (Dreamcast port)
Hello there, i'm back. (more or less) It's been a while since i have not ported anything to the Dreamcast so i have decided to port "The Last Mission" remake by Dmitry Smagin. https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-tMQnFAMIrMQ/VhZWIsshmII/AAAAAAAAJzs/qyavHOHJEvQ/s1600/lastmission_dc.jpg Download Sauce...

Tout répond bien mais le son crache. Je n'ai testé que le mode EASY.
The game should now work properly. (at least it does on lxdream, i guess it's not that unreliable)

Re: [WIP] Tail-Tale
I looked on Google and seems that there are like two version different games: this one (Fumi2kick (Omamori Shimasu) - http://www.limo.fumi2kick.com/works/tai ... index.html) that is version 1.0? , and another one (TailTale - Shippo no Puzzle) but that one is completely different, right My version i...

Re: [WIP] Tail-Tale
A quick test on nullDC (tomorrow I'll test on real hard): * WAV sounds are bad and they are not playing correctly (like the rolling in Falling Time). They need to be redone (all sounds are 11025Hz and 8 bits sample?) * Emu crashes after 1-2 minutes of playing (I'll verify on real hard but, not a go...

Tail-Tale (Sega Dreamcast)
http://img110.xooimage.com/files/4/2/9/tailtale_scr1-4c50092.png Tail-Tale is a puzzle-game made by umi2kick, rerofumi and pyonkey-matsuo. It plays similar to Tetris Attack. To hold a block, press A. While holding a block, you can move it. When you're happy, release it. Align 4 or more blocks of th...

Re: [WIP] OpenTitus
Yeah, it's quite usual when you try to use double buffering but the game does not support it!! hehehe. For this engine, SWSURFACE looks better than HW one (in the password screen is where it takes the difference), and both run at same speed because the engine limits itself. Btw, I saw you already f...

Re: [WIP] OpenTitus
I found another issue in DC version: the password screen is very "flashy" and can't be read. I love that I can enter password with my PAD (and there's no need for keyboard), but there's something wrong because it is rendering the password screen and title screen at the same time :( Yes, i...

Re: [WIP] OpenTitus
Hello indiket, thanks for the bug report ! There was two version of the opl interpreter and i was using the heavier one... I have uploaded a new version that fixes this (at least the music seems to play faster on lxdream). Additional note: I noticed you're using 0.8.0, but latest one is 0.8.1, right...
