What are you saying!?!Eviltaco64X wrote: Bubsy 3D
Anyways, games from the 3-D shift have not aged very gracefully (gameplaywise and graphic-wise), but if that's what you're going for-- do it.
I didn't really care for anything on the PSX, I just really wanted to post to say do NOT ever try Bubsy 3D. Do nooooooot.

Google Wave Invites?
I'm skeptical of the service, but does anybody have any invites? I'd love to give it a go!

Re: Gamestop question
Here's a question: does anyone have any idea how Microsoft managed to so totally botch the design of the 360? I'm not 100% positive, but I believe it is the least reliable console of the last 20 years (there's that one poll giving an over 50% failure rate in its lifetime, and anecdotally I have fou...

Re: Windows 7 Color Calibration issues?
I found a couple topics about this regarding color profiles on "default PNP" monitors, and it seems like it was more trouble than it is worth.
Basically, I ended up changing all of the settings in the video card utility instead of the Windows utility... works like a charm.

Windows 7 Color Calibration issues?
Hey everyone, I've tried looking for the answer to this online, but haven't come across anything that works. I calibrate my display using the built in utility, but everytime the machine goes to sleep, restarts, or comes back from sleep the goddamn color profile resets to the shit it was before I cal...

Re: Buying a New Computer
Building a Hackintosh is a million times easier now than it used to be. If you build it from the ground up, knowing what it will be it will perform very well... I'd say that's definitely the best option. I've built 3 so far, and once they are up and running it's gravy.

Re: Help with transparancy?
The first two images you may want to just get rid of the solid black first, then use the color replacement tool to whatever they are going on top of. Third one is extremely easy though.

Sounds excellent! Really don't need too high of a resolution if you're just running FrontRow. Might want to check out some of the other MediaCenter type programs. CenterStage used to be pretty good...

Yeah I rarely see anyone with this pic-- you have good taste
Probably will keep this until I unlock the Lennon pic in RB. And Nico, my friend was going to get a new Elite regardless, so the HDD transfer kit will help him as well =)

I'm balls deep in this game right now, about 45 Riddler Challenges short of finishing the single player. I have a lot of other games to play, so I probably won't go through with the Challenge levels. Regardless, this game is absolutely fantastic, and it's like a blend of Zelda, Metroid and BioShock;...

Re: Laptop question... is this price too steep?
It's a workstation computer, so the quality is going to be very solid. Personally, I'd go with either a T-Series ThinkPad or a Macbook Pro instead.

LF: Xbox 360 HDD Transfer Kit
Hey everyone, My friends Elite failed outside of warranty, and he offered to sell me his hard drive for $40. I know that I can fill out a form for MS and get a free one, but that can take nearly a month and I'd prefer to get this done with as soon as possible. I checked out the local used game shops...

How about ripping apart a portable DVD player? Pretty sure some of them have some sortof inputs, and I know they make 7" models.
