err, you should do some math here with this thing to get it right, for instance if you were to use a 3,3v led, and put 3,3 v on it, and then you should measure the current using a multimeter, then using the formula u/i=r (u is voltage, i is current, r is resistance) you should be able to calculate t...

cutting a wire to the power switch will work, but remember, all the power running the dc is flowing trough those wires, 230v, and some amps too, and off course you will need to press the reset button for a litle while, try quickly turning power off and on again, the dc wont reset, it will keep going...

erm, not questioning your skils, but what would you do with a printer on your dc? there is no real word processor for it, and network stuff can be done with a bba

could you design a bba? that would be very very kewl, ar maybe a hdd or fdd interface

but i still think it would be kinda useless

for the hard reset, you basicly need to wire the power on circuit trough the pad, and somehow i dont think it would be a good idea, having 220 volts running trought the pad, it might cause a shedload of interference

the soft reset simulation sounds good

your right, i looked it up in my telecom book (student in electronics), and the baud rate states the amount of modulations per second, or as you put it bps

im not gonna check the math, ill think that is ok

mmm i havent played h&d on the dc yet, but i remember from playing the pc version it was buggy as hell, it took me about 20 tries to get to level two, and not because level 1 was that hard, but because in 90% of my tries, the game would lock up on me, rebooting time

i have a fix for that, if you were to isolate the 5v (or whatever voltage the controller works of) wire from the built in pad, and put a switch in it if you use the switch in off setting the built-in maple chip wont be powered, and the dc will think there is nothing in the socket, so you can still u...

vmu/modem mod idea can it be done?

hi guys, im new here, but after browsing the forum i got this awesome idea why not gut the dc modem, and build in a vmu or other memory card (im thinking of the sega 4x card, pretty small and 800 blocks) i was thinking it could be done, rip up an old dc pad, strip the controller board down untill on...
