Re: Secret Maryo Chronicles

Hum it looks very nice and fast indeed, but wasn't the other way used for some reason? Maybe you are skipping some control checks/functions that could lead to some errors when rendering polys or something? Else everything would have been done using that method, right? I haven't tangled too much with...

Re: RGB Color conversion issue?

It's fixed now but thank you Ph3N0M One of the issues was fixed by using SDL_HWSURFACE ( it had to do with the alpha and changin from 32 to 16 bit mode ) and the other one, related to the strings the game I just released prints, they appeared cyan instead of white, Indiket helped me out with this ;)...

Open Syobon Action DC Released!

After a long while since my last port, I decided it was time to get in action again and it wasn't until I saw this game that I thought: "This has to be on DC" And so I got to it.... http://confessionsofacurlymind.files.wordpress.com/2011/12/syobonaction.jpg What we have here is a typical s...

Great ! Can you say more about the PVR limitation and the way you solved it ?
I'm intrigued about that too... did you modify kos for that?

RGB Color conversion issue?

I'm finishing a game port, only a few pieces left to get it working nicely. In order to get more performance I had to tune down the colors to 16 bit mode, it was in 32 before. It's a sdl port, the problem is some tiles and pixels color suddenly changed, probably with some conflict with the colorkey ...

Wow that really is nice Ph3n0m.

I tried it and I must say it's quite impressive :)

Should we expect a full engine/game in the near future?

Re: So about that game Black and White...

It was canned as a result of sega ceasing the console business, as many other games...

But word on the street says it was playable and there might be some advanced betas out there in the hands of some collectors.

Re: LibADX - A Dreamcast K:OS ADX Decoding Library

Wow, now that is a sserious surprise.
This might end some issues with audio formats.

Hum one question, when this is loaded, does it take over the whole sound system or is it possible to load any other formats through other libs ?

Re: Searching for in-game website archives

Try web.archive.org There are some in there, also google this: "sonic.games.dreamcast.com" and you will find some site with a partial dump of the site. Sonic retro has the sonic adventure 2 site http://dricas.sonicretro.org/sonic2/ Using some google searches might lead you to find the craz...

Re: Dreamcast Media Center

Indiket pretty much sumed it all up. I am testing more Phenom so I will report some feedback soon. Everyone who would like to add sd support to anything is as simple as using the kos ( or just the sd part ) in here: svn://emuforge.com/kos It's also added to the vfs so you can access the sd as you wo...

Re: Sylverant PSO Patcher v1.0 Released!

I would like to announce the release of Sylverant PSO Patcher v1.0. What is this program, you may ask? It is a program that acts as a boot disc of sorts for the Dreamcast versions of PSO, and patches various aspects of them to work with private servers. It is designed to allow users to play PSO wit...

Re: Dreamcast Media Center

Great, but wouldn't it be better ( and obviously more diff and take more time ) to use the emulator core ( and not load the emu bin ) to load the rom directly from dcmc? Two cons of this are the rom recognision, either using a different file extension for each rom type would work or maybe the heade...

Re: Compiling SNES4ALL

I think th 1.2.6 mixer version is the old mixer that can be found on his site, and the sdl 1213 was ( maybe ) released on dreamcast.es but I'm not sure, either way as phenom said, everything required to build all that stuff and use the sd is in the svn repository.

Post an example image, maybe that would help to get where the error is being made...
Well 2 images, one with the correct, and the wrong output one.
